Hometown Shame
Dallas ranks No. 3 home-wrecking hotbed in America
In the realm of online dating, there are mainstream sites like Match.com and sugar daddy sites like SugarDaddie.com. Then there’s AshleyMadison.com, which is designed for affairs. Apparently, single Dallas women are fans of AshleyMadison.com.
According to a new study from the site, Dallas ranks third in the nation for single women using the online service to do some classic home-wrecking. Nearly 32 percent of Dallas' AshleyMadison.com female users are single.
That puts our fair city right behind Phoenix (38 percent) and Washington, D.C. (35 percent) for highest in the country.
In fact, Dallas jumped three spots from last year’s sixth place, showing that mistressing is en vogue these days. AshleyMadison.com says the Oak Lawn neighborhood has the highest concentration of single ladies looking for a man with a wedding band.
"Dallas is a place where people's private lives don't necessarily reflect the conservative reputation of the city," site founder Noel Biderman said in a statement.
Before the rest of Texas gets too high and mighty about Dallas’ infidelity situation, Houston made the list for the first time at No. 6, with 25 percent of single female users.
Sinners, the lot of you.
