It's your civic duty
Time's running out: Voter registration ends Tuesday
Tuesday is the deadline for voter registration in Texas, and we’ve been told that voting is pretty important in a democratic republic. Hell, Diddy did it.
So head over to the Texas Secretary of State website to fill out your registration form and mail it in to your local registration center. The site says that Internet Explorer 7 (and up) and Firefox are the preferred browsers, and we’re inclined to agree.
It might seem pointless to vote in a non-swing state such as ours, but it also seems pointless for me to talk to women sometimes. And yet ...
Chrome gave us trouble with printing, but then again, our printer is also a fax machine, copier, time machine, nuclear reactor and Twix factory. It’s not easy to use. PC Load Letter? What does that mean?

After you’ve mailed your registration form (By the end of today! It’s the last day! That’s the whole point of this!), the next step will actually be voting. And if you go to the polls, you’ll have to vote for someone, even if it’s Mickey Mouse.
If you want to vote for someone real, but you’re unsure or you want to validate your choice of candidate, check out the website isidewith.com.
It asks questions about everything from economic policy to the environment to civil rights issues, and then it breaks down how much you agree with certain candidates and why. It’s pretty nifty.
So register to vote right here. And here. And, in case you’ve missed it so far, here too.
