Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) and the Trinity Railway Express (TRE) have released their Christmas and New Year's holiday schedules.

Both holidays this year fall on a Monday.

Other compllicating factors: There's a Dallas Stars game on Saturday, December 31.

DART will also be the beneficiary of a program by Molson Coors to provide free rides on New Year's Eve.

Sunday, December 24, 2023

• DART Buses and Light Rail: Operating on a weekend schedule.
• TRE: No service.
• DART GoLink: All GoLink Zones, except the IPTMA Zone, will operate from 5 am–midnight.
• DART Mobility Management's Paratransit Call Center will be closed December 24 – December 25. Customers wishing to schedule trips by phone for any of these days will need to do so by Friday, December 22. Customers can also schedule, view, and cancel trips 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at www.DART.org/paratransit
• DART Customer Information Center will be open from 5 am-12:00 am.

Monday, December 25, 2023

• DART Buses and Light Rail: Operating on a weekend schedule.
• TRE: No service.
• DART GoLink: All GoLink Zones, except the IPTMA Zone, will operate from 5:00 am–midnight. The IPTMA Zone will not operate.
• DART Paratransit: Paratransit services will operate on a Sunday schedule.
• DART Customer Information Center: Closed.
• DART Customer Care Center and Lost and Found: Closed.
• DART Administrative Offices: Closed.

Free DART Rides on New Year's Eve: Coors Light and DART will once again help North Texas residents get home safely on New Year's Eve. Free transportation will be offered the night of New Year's Eve on DART buses, light rail, Paratransit Services and the Trinity Railway Express (TRE) between EBJ Union Station and CentrePort/DFW Airport Station for everyone from 6:00 pm until the end of service.

Free rides from Molson Coors
Molson Coors returns with complimentary mass transit on New Year’s Eve through its 2023 Coors Light Free Rides program.

Since its inception in 1988, the Free Rides program has been a cornerstone of Molson Coors' commitment to promoting responsible celebrations. Through collaborations with mass transit, the program has funded free rides for more than 8 million individuals across the U.S.

During last year’s New Year’s Eve Free Rides in Dallas, nearly 28,000 individuals took advantage of complimentary transit to welcome in the new year.

This year, the program was offered in nine cities over the course of five events including St. Patrick’s Day, major holidays, and professional sporting events. Molson Coors has expanded the Free Rides program over the past two years, providing increased access to free transportation options.

In addition to Dallas, Molson Coors is offering free rides on New Year’s Eve to residents in Charlotte, Chicago, Denver, Milwaukee, Phoenix, and Minneapolis-St. Paul.
