A visually stunning film, Gravity received four of the NTFCA's 10 awards, including Best Picture, Best Director for Alfonso Cuarón, Best Actress for Sandra Bullock and Best Cinematography for the work of Emmanuel Lubezki.

The NTFCA is a group of Dallas-Fort Worth area film critics, including yours truly, who have given out end-of-year awards to films for five years. Past Best Picture winners have included Up in the Air, Inception, War Horse and Lincoln.
