Guns N' Roses to perform intimate concert at House of Blues in Dallas
Filed under the "how far they've fallen" department, Guns N' Roses will come to Dallas May 29 for a concert at the House of Blues. Tickets will run from $135 (for general admission) to $155 for the balcony to $175 for "platinum," which we hope means you'll get your hair braided by frontman Axl Rose's tour stylist.
The promoters are calling this a "once in a lifetime, up close and personal show," which is an amusing way to gild a rose. Hey, that's pretty good, because his name is Axl Rose.
The Dallas date is an add-on to a stop in Texas the band was already scheduled to make in San Antonio, when they perform at the River City Rockfest at the AT&T Center on May 26. They're headlining the annual Rocklahoma festival in Pryor, Oklahoma on May 24, and they will also play a few dates in the Southwest around that time, including the Lonestar Ampitheater in Lubbock on June 1 and Kansas City on June 2.
Rose kind of can't get a break; in March, he was sued by a fan in Australia after getting hit in the mouth by a cordless microphone Rose threw into the audience. Uh, maybe you shouldn't go to rock shows?
Tickets will go on sale Friday, May 3, at 10 am.
