Where to shop in Dallas right now: 8 must-hit stores for January
With the start of each month comes a crop of new stores that breathes fresh life into the Dallas shopping scene. And whether you are drawn to stores selling things to enhance your home, fill your closet, or improve your look, there is a new place to check out in January that seems to be opening with you in mind.
Lively
This NYC-based online shop is popping up in Dallas in the former Kendra Scott space in West Village from January 11-21. This brand of bras and underwear blurs the lines of lingerie, activewear, and swim for a curated collection dubbed Leisurée. The shop is open Monday through Saturday, 10 am-7 pm and on Sundays, noon-6 pm. During the pop-up, Lively will host several special events, including "Be Lively with Bumble" (January 13, 2-5 pm); Lively DIY Taco Night with Taco Diner (January 19, 6:30-8:30 pm); and Lively High Tea with Bird Bakery (January 20, 1-3 pm). Bar & Garden
Vino that won't leave you with a hangover? We're listening. This new shop on Ross Avenue sources organic wine from chemical-free vineyards and sells additive-free spirits, too. This means less of a hangover and more of a happy hour. You can also shop healthy mixers, beer, bar tools, flasks, and even plants and succulents.
Caitlin Wilson Design
This interior designer and successful blogger was so smitten with Dallas that she not only opened a Henderson avenue store here, but moved her family here, as well. This adorable shop has everything you need to put together the chic-est of homes, including rugs, wallpaper, and more. The store opens to a flower shop that sells arrangements and bouquets. It's so darling (and so Dallas).
Cos Bar
The Plaza is the latest shopping center to nab this high tech beauty destination that makes selecting distinctive products easier than ever. Customers can watch tutorials and even read and write reviews. Brands featured at the shop include Clé de Peau, Tom Ford, Sisley-Paris, Rodin, Bobbi Brown, La Prairie, Laura Mercier, Natura Bisse, Tata Harper, and more.
Lululemon
Everyone who has stepped foot into a Dallas workout studio has heard of Lululemon; however, you might not be aware of the new storefront that is open at NorthPark Center on Level One near Dillard's. It's simply gorgeous, gigantic, and worth a visit in your quest to live a more active 2018.

Julie McCullough and Mike Arreaga are the proud owners of the latest Bishop Arts boutique that features clothes for men and women, plus handbags, home decor, pottery, and handmade shoes. Local designers featured in the shop include Folksie, McCullough, YonoSe, Wild Beast Leather, Oetlco, Moon Child Jewelry, Ribelle Studio, and more.
Peacock Alley
Fans of the luxury bedding brand circle their calendars for its once-a-year sale, which features linens, towels, and throws at fantastic prices. The sale runs January 11-27 in the Dallas store.

This Forever21 spinoff is a high-tech beauty and lifestyle store selling cosmetics and skin care, home decor items, and even sweets. The store features interactive touch screens, luxe vanities, and a wall of candy by Dylan’s Candy Bar. Brands include Beauty Bakerie, Lime Crime, Nuca, Stila Cosmetics, Too Cool for School, Winky Lux, Glitter Injections, Peripera, Luxie Beauty, and Lemonhead LA, and more.
