Where to Shop Now
Where to shop in Dallas right now: 6 must-hit stores for June
Summer in Dallas is all about taking it easy in the heat, and with that philosophy in mind, this month's shopping list is short and sweet. Whether you need a slammin' new bathing suit for vacation or a great gift for Father's Day, here are some ideas for the days ahead. And who can resist a little luxury shopping? Even if it is just window shopping.
Chiara Ferragni x Lancôme at Nordstrom
On June 13, Nordstrom launches an exclusive partnership with Lancôme and digital entrepreneur Chiara Ferragni. The limited-edition makeup collection pays homage to the global style icon with the use of her signature, iconic eye logo design. Chiara’s personal Lancôme picks were used to create her favorite lifestyle looks for the collection consisting of The Chiara Lifestyle Palette ($55), three limited edition lacquers ($26), drama mascara ($28), and more. The Lancôme x Chiara collection is available in all Nordstrom locations and online.
Dallas Running Company
If Dad's a runner, he needs the royal treatment for Father's Day. A $100 gift card purchase gets recipients a custom fit appointment, performance socks to go with their shoe selection, and a lifestyle T-shirt. A quick trip to the new Shops at Legacy store might just make you Dad's favorite.
Dior
Unless you have been hiding under a (very unfashionable) rock, you've heard about the Dior: From Paris to the World exhibit showing this summer at the Dallas Museum of Art. Why not continue the Dior state of mind post exhibition with a little shopping at the boutique in Highland Park Village. We are swooning over the Mitzah scarves ($190) and the woven J’Adior bracelets, which come in a set of two ($390).
Everything But Water
Those on the lookout for a killer bathing suit in anticipation for your summer travels would be doing yourself a disservice not to check out the newly renovated boutique at Preston Center. And while there is also a smaller NorthPark Center shop, we are partial to this location because of its selection, space, and overall customer service experience.
Plant Bar at Flea Style
The Deep Ellum shop recently celebrated its first anniversary on the Dallas retail scene with a new addition. Located on the outdoor patio, the store now features a 900 square foot plant bar allowing people to create their own succulent, plants, and cactus arrangements or grab a plant and go. Plants come in vintage pots (of course) that are decorated with shells and crystals and range in price from $9-$75.
Saint Laurent
The first of the month was a fresh beginning for this French design house, which opened a store at NorthPark Center. Located on level one, this light and bright boutique is now Saint Laurent's only Dallas store after they closed their spot in Highland Park Village earlier this year. Shoppers will find women’s and men’s ready-to-wear apparel, leather goods, shoes, jewelry, and eyewear, all under the Saint Laurent logo.
