We eat local food and drink local brews and shop local designers. Now, with a proliferation of local skincare, bath and body lines, we can satisfy our beauty regimen with products born and bred around Dallas-Fort Worth. From shampoos and sunscreens to indulgent elixirs and creams, these are our top picks for homegrown beauty products.

Dear Clark
Dear Clark salon owners Holly Dear and Kaycee Clark recently launched a line of five hair care essentials — resurrecting wash, resurrecting rinse, thickening balm, smoothing elixir and finishing salve — made with natural Texas ingredients such as aloe vera, sunflower seed oil and rose of Jericho. Lather, rinse and you'll certainly want to repeat. Shop online or at the Uptown Dallas salon.

FarmHouse Fresh
Frisco-based FarmHouse Fresh goods are packaged cutely in glass jars or cruets, making the sweet-smelling vegan line of bath and body products perfect for gifting and displaying on bathroom shelves. On our wish list: honey heel glaze and nectar milk soothing bath soak. Shop online or at Cooper Spa, ZaSpa and Neiman Marcus.

Flower Road
Because founder Michelle Bardwell studied naturopathy and aromatherapy, you can trust that all of these organic elixirs and creams are made with the highest quality, medicinal-grade ingredients. Flower Road also uses recycled papers and soy inks in its packaging. Find the products at Number One or online.

Hard Night Good Morning
D'Andra Simmons' award-winning aloe vera-based skincare products — makeup remover, cleanser, moisturizers, detox toner, facial cocktail serum, eye cream and masque — are designed to counteract those old foes fatigue and stress. What Dallas girl doesn't want that? Shop online or at Central Market, Stanley Korshak and Nuvo.

Jack Black
We've been stealing our beau's Jack Black face buff and lip balm for years. Now the Carrollton-based luxury men's skincare line has launched a new unisex collection. The EpicMoisture line — body wash, nourishing oil and body lotion — is ultra-hydrating without a heavy feel. Shop online or at Sephora and Neiman Marcus.

Kale Naturals
Created by two Dallas women, Tia Pettijohn and Dana Kale, this chemical-free men's skincare line contains natural ingredients such as sustainable bamboo, Irish moss, citrus extracts, blue agave and licorice root. In addition to facial cleaners and shave gel, Kale also has a sport line with shampoo and 3-in-1 wash. Available online or at Blues Jean Bar, Pockets Menswear and Neiman Marcus.

Margo's Bath & Body
All of Margo McIntosh's products are as natural as possible and contain few ingredients. We love the salt scrub, which leaves skin feeling silky smooth, and the Neroli Blossom body soufflé lotion. Find the products at the Spa at Willow Bend, Mokara Spa at Omni Dallas, Uptown Wellness center or online.

Niven Morgan
Dallasite Niven Morgan boasts a fabulous collection of bath and body products and home fragrances in the most intoxicating scents. In addition to his aromatic candles, which we love to gift, we dig the blue collection travel set that comes equipped with all the essentials: shampoo, conditioner, body lotion and body wash. Shop online or at Tootsies.

Renee Rouleau
Skincare guru Renee Rouleau has been working as an aesthetician for more than 25 years. To complement her award-winning skills, Rouleau's skincare line, which is customized for every skin type, promises fresh and radiant skin — and it delivers. Even celebrities like Jessica Simpson and Anna Farris swear by her products. The lightweight, odorless SPF 30 sunscreen is a year-round must-have. Shop for products online or at her spas in Dallas and Plano.

Susan Posnick
This line of mineral makeup does double duty: accentuates natural beauty and protects delicate skin from the sun. Our favorites are the natural Colorflo products that prevent sun irritation, shield skin from UVA and UVB rays, and fight free radicals. Start with the Colorflo simply brush weightless mineral foundation, and you'll be hooked. Shop at Stanley Korshak or online.

Sweet Texas Olive
Cedar Hill-based Sweet Texas Olive started with handmade olive oil-based soaps and quickly expanded its line to include body washes, moisturizers and scrubs. Our favorites: Prickly Pear Lip Scrub and Cowgirls & Indians Body Butter scented with gardenia, ylang ylang and lily. Sweet Texas Olive also sells scented goodies for the home, such as sachets and beeswax candle tarts.
