New Drybar blows into the best-tressed neighborhood in Dallas
A popular blow dry bar is booking appointments for all who tress to impress in Uptown Dallas. Drybar opened its third Dallas-area location, at 2020 Cedar Springs Rd., #185, on June 22.
The 2,308-square-foot location has 12 styling chairs and all of the signature elements Drybar fans love, including blowouts, updos, and professional-quality products and tools for sale.
"Dallas Uptown is home to some of the most sought-after retailers and restaurants in the area, says Alli Webb, founder of Drybar, in a release. "Since we have gotten so many requests for a shop in this area, we knew this would be the perfect spot for our newest Texas location.”
Drybar devotees have come to love the salon's over-the-top customer service and attention to detail, the company says. The Uptown location offers an extensive menu of options that includes such whimsically named styles as The Straight Up, The Manhattan, The Cosmo, The Mai Tai, The Cosmo-Tai, Southern Comfort, Dirty Martini, The Uptini, Old Fashioned, Shirley Temple, and styles from the braid bar.
Kids ages 10 an under can get a special Shirley Temple style that's as cute as its namesake. Memberships, dry styling, weddings, group specials, and parties are also available.
The other Dallas-area Drybars are at NorthPark Center and The Shops of Highland Park. There also are locations in Grapevine and Fort Worth.
The Uptown salon maintains Drybar’s signature design, including custom Italian chairs, tufted fabric walls, marble bars with built-in phone docking stations, and flat screens featuring cult favorite chick flicks, the company says.
Hours are 7 am-8 pm Monday-Wednesday, 7 am-10 pm Thursday-Friday, 8 am-9 pm Saturday, and 9 am-7 pm Sunday. Appointments can be booked through the website, via the Drybar iPhone app, or by calling 877-379-2279.
