Galleria Dallas hosts benefit market with 15 vendors in outdoor space
Galleria Dallas is hosting a market this weekend that'll benefit Bonton Farms. The event is the culmination of a month-long partnership between the shiny North Dallas shopping center and the South Dallas nonprofit.
Called Alley Market, it's a bi-annual event celebrating small businesses that takes place in Galleria Dallas’ outdoor alley, next to The Blue Fish.
This rendition takes place October 21-22 with more than a dozen businesses, all women-owned, with 10 percent of sales benefiting Bonton Farms. Bonton will also be a vendor, selling seasonal produce and preserves.
Vendor highlights include CocoAndre, the chocolate company owned by Mexican-American mother daughter duo Andrea and Cindy Pedraza; Oventure, a hands-free keychain company that's been featured on "Oprah's Favorite Things"; and The Planting Hand, owned by Karla Gallegos, who turned a volunteer gig she took on while working for HG Sply creating their rooftop garden into one of Dallas’ most interesting horticultural businesses.
To fully transform the shopping center’s outdoor walkway into an immersive and vibrant Alley Market, teenage turntablist DJ K-Sprinkles will play a mix of upbeat, popular songs.
