Hotel ZaZa [https: /dallas.culturemap.com/guide/hotels/hotel-zaza-dallas/] was the pioneer of the concept suite, offering swanky themed rooms to guests looking for a more intimate — and exciting — stay. President Benji Homsey never fails to amaze with his accommodations, and he pulled out all the stops for his latest project: bungalows in the State Thomas Historic District in Dallas. Starting July 26, visitors or staycationers can book a room — or several — in one of the two renovated historic homes at 2501 and 2505 Thomas Ave. "We looked at the design from a residential perspective; we want to make you feel like you're home," says Homsey, who credits Kim Miller with Design Duncan Miller Ullmann and ZaZa CEO Charlie Givens for helping with the decor. The furniture was purchased from local stores, including Uncommon Market, Lost & Found and David Gilbert.
