It's a rather calm week on the food events front. That's because holidays like Memorial Day usually mean long weekends dedicated to grilling and chilling at home with friends and family. Here are a few events to hold you over until next week when food events get fired up again.
Wednesday, May 23
Sokol Blosser Wine Dinner at LAW Restaurant
There's almost no better way to spend a Wednesday night than enjoying dinner on property at Four Seasons Resort and Club Dallas at Las Colinas. Executive Chef Christof Syre will present a four-course dinner paired with five Sokol Blosser wines. Tickets are $130, and the dinner begins at 6:30 pm. Call 972-717-2420 for reservations.
Rooftop Movie Night at Sundown at Granada
Guests can enjoy Wonder Woman while sipping on some tasty treats from the rooftop bar and enjoying food off of the bar bites menu. Admission is free, and the movie starts rolling at 8:30 pm.

Rosé and Texture of the Sea Dinner at Dallas Fish Market
Experience the many textures of salmon and other fresh-caught seafood paired with rosé champagnes. Courses include hamachi sashimi, salmon and beet root, lightly smoked scallops, crispy skate wing, and more. Tickets are $60, and the dinner begins at 6:30 pm.

Pup Crawl at Dot's Hop House and Cocktail Courtyard
Dallas Pets Alive presents this sixth annual event that begins and ends at Dot's. Other bars and stops include Braindead Brewing, Easy Slider, Anvil Pub, Twilite Lounge, Three Links, and Armoury D.E.. Tickets are $30 and benefit Dallas Pets Alive. The event takes place from 1-5 pm.
Sunday, May 26
Dallas Margarita Meltdown at Dallas Farmers Market
At the Dallas Margarita Meltdown, competitors concoct their finest margarita and offer samples. Think Veracruz Cafe, Opa Greek Taverna, Iron Cactus, State & Allen Kitchen + Bar, Ragin Crab Cafe Dallas, Peggy Sue BBQ, Don Chingon, Cedars Social, Hide in Deep Ellum, Backyard, Taqueria La Ventana, On the Border, El Fenix, Frankies Bar, and more. Tickets start at $15 and include a sampling card, which allows attendees to sample, taste, and vote for your favorite margarita from each participating establishment. The fun lasts from 12 pm-8 pm.
