Five-course Wine Dinner With Tiffany Derry at Wine Poste
The Wine Poste and guest chef Tiffany Derry put on a five-course meal beginning with a champagne reception at 7 pm. Dishes include pork buns with pork belly and pickled vegetables on a steamed bun paired with a 2011 Flux Blanc, and Peking duck with okra, tomato, herb salad and cornbread croutons paired with a 2010 Pierre Usseglio. Pappas Bros. hosts Caymus Vineyards for a four-course wine dinner beginning at 7 pm with a reception of 2011 Mer Soleil “Silver” unoaked Santa Lucia Highlands Chardonnay. Dishes include roasted breast of pheasant with leg in confit, toasted red quinoa and mache paired with a 2011 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon and a 2010 “special selection” Napa Cabernet Sauvignon.
