August Catfish Special at Lovers Seafood and Market
Throughout August, the restaurant is offering an all-you-can-eat catfish lunch special for just $18. This includes unlimited plates of catfish, french fries, hush puppies, and a choice of regular or spicy tartar sauce. This is a lunch special only and will be happening until August 31.

Texas Wine Talk & Tasting at Whole Foods Park Lane
The Texas Wine Journal is hitting the road for a "Texas vs. The World roadshow." The event includes an interactive and educational tasting and talk followed by a mixer with Texas wine producers, the journal, and other Lone Star wine lovers. Tickets are $25, and the event kicks off at 7 pm.

Happy Hour Fundraiser at Fat Rabbit
Fat Rabbit will donate 5 percent of bar and food sales to Helping Our Heroes Foundation, which honors and supports post-9/11 wounded, critically ill, and injured members of all branches of the U.S. Armed Forces and their families. Happy hour specials include $2 off all appetizers, $4 can and draft beer, $4 wells, $6 house wine by the glass, and $8 Fat Rabbit signature cocktails. The event is free with RSVP and lasts from 4 to 7 pm.
Tiki Party at Ida Claire
The event begins with a mingling cocktail hour featuring passed appetizers. The feast begins around sunset with suckling pig served family style along with an array of island-inspired, family-style sides. The feast ends on a sweet note with a plated dessert. Sixteen Seat Omakase Sake Dinner at Tei-An
The 16-seat event features an omakase chef tasting menu including a Dassai sake tasting. The CEO of Dassai Sake, Kazuhiro Sakurai, is serving the sake, alongside chef and owner Teiichi Sakurai. Tickets are $350 a person, and the event starts at 7 pm. Call 214-220-2828 to reserve your spot.
