This Week in Gluttony
Oktoberfest tops best food and drink events in Dallas
Autumn is a handful of days away, and it’s still in the 90s. North Texas can be fun like that. But Oktoberfest is almost here and, with it, the chance to add a couple of inches to our waistlines.
It’s not the only gluttonous festival on tap for this weekend, however. BurgerFest takes over Deep Ellum, and the Food Truck Palooza raises money for the North Texas Food Bank.
That’s to say nothing of the dinner at Lark on the Park with Garrett Oliver, one of the wisest beer experts in the world, or the dinner at Cook Hall featuring Dallas’ own whiskey distillery.

Seatings are at 6 and 8 pm on Thursday and Friday and 4 and 6 pm on Saturday. Tickets to the Brau Haus can be ordered online and include entry into Oktoberfest as well as a $25 gift card good at Chamberlain’s Steak and Chop House or Chamberlain’s Fish Market Grill.
