Dallas fine dining destination deemed one of America's best restaurants
The contemporary French cuisine and refined atmosphere that established the French Room as a Dallas dining staple have landed the posh spot on OpenTable's list of the 100 Best Restaurants in America for 2015.
To determine the winners, the restaurant reservation site analyzed more than 5 million restaurant reviews submitted by verified OpenTable diners for more than 20,000 restaurants. Ten restaurants received numerical rankings of No. 1 through No. 10; the remaining 90 restaurants were not ranked.
Fine food and an elegant space elevate the French Room way past the humble category of hotel restaurant. Many visitors noted that dining there made them feel "like royalty,"and the glossy restaurant is also a favorite for intimate date nights. In fact, the swanky destination was even named one of OpenTable's most romantic restaurants in the country earlier this year.
Reviewers give the French Room top marks for food, service, and ambience. Diners tout the exceptional waitstaff and overall experience, and an impressive 97 percent of reviewers would recommend it to a friend.
Four other Texas restaurants land on OpenTable's list: Rudy & Paco Restaurant & Bar in Galveston, Chez Nous French Restaurant in Humble, Truluck's in Austin, and Le Cep in Fort Worth.
