Good friends and good beer reward marvelous mustaches for Movember
It’s nearly halfway through Movember, so we thought we would remind you about the good cause of raising awareness and funds for men’s cancer. We’ve even made it about beer this time, because beer is the opposite of men’s cancer.
Goodfriend Beer Garden in East Dallas has teamed up with Vickery Park, Chaney 44 Construction and Cultivar Coffee to create a Movember team. The businesses will match up to $2,500 in contributions, and so far they’ve raised more than $1,400.

But the beer, you say. Where does the beer play into this?
Well, Goodfriend has joined forces with Lakewood Brewing Co. for discounts on Saturday tours in November. Anyone rocking a soup strainer gets into LBC for half off, and the $5 you do pay goes to Movember.
You also get a voucher for a free pint of LBC at Goodfriend, courtesy of bar co-owner Josh Yingling.
In short, grow a mustache and donate the money you saved on the tour to Movember.
It’s never too late for an embarrassing mouth brow. If you need tips, as always, classically trained actor Nick Offerman offers guidance. He knows what he’s talking about: His mustache was actually once owned by Sam Elliott.
