Dallas and its suburbs continue to be one of the most popular destinations for people relocating in the U.S., attracting 300 new residents every day, along with attractions like a Universal theme park, out-of-town restaurants, and other prospectors.
Especially restaurants. Dallas is going through an epic wave, with nearly two dozen openings just in the past few weeks — and scads more coming in 2025. While it's impossible to get a complete head count on how many are opening, we've worked up a pretty good list of the many (not just "our favorite" or "the most anticipated" but all) that are coming soon.
This list has everything from a burger pop-up opening a permanent location to a craft beer concept from Canada to an internationally renowned chef overseeing a fancy cafe in one of Dallas' richest neighborhoods. Newcomers will be serving a wide range of cuisines: Asian, French, Italian, Greek, seafood, BBQ.
And unless it states otherwise, most of the places on this list are slated to open in early- to mid-2025.

Avra Estiatorio. Luxe Greek restaurant from New York featuring traditional Greek dishes will open at Crescent Court. 300 Crescent Ct. #120.
Bread Club. Bakery from brothers Henry and Brandon Cohanim (Bar Colette, Pok, Namo) will open at The Quad in Uptown; they're also opening Mamani in the same space. 2681 Howell St.
Burger Schmurger. Buzzy burger pop-up is going brick & mortar in former Lake Highlands bar BarNone. 718 N. Buckner Blvd.
Caffe Lucca. Italian restaurant in the former Grange Hall is from chef Julian Barsotti (Nonna) and ex-Dallas Cowboys coach Jason Garrett. 4445 Travis St.
Centro on the Square. Steak & seafood restaurant is coming to downtown McKinney from restaurateurs Brian Dunne, owner of Mexican Bar Company in Plano; and George Stergios, owner of Knife Steakhouse Plano. 112 E. Louisiana St.
Clark's Oyster Bar. Chic Austin seafood concept with oysters, raw bar, and pan-roasted burgers, is opening near the Katy Trail. 4155 Buena Vista St.
Craft Restaurant & Beer Market. Casual-dining chain from Canada with craft beer, co-owned by Dallas Stars owner Tom Gaglardi, will open first U.S. location in Preston Center in 2026. 5974 W. Northwest Hwy.
Delilah. L.A.-based supper club-style restaurant chain with Vegas-style live performers and bottle service is coming to the Design District. 1616 Hi Line Dr.
Cafe Dior by Dominique Crenn. Exciting new cafe is coming to the recently-opened Dior store, under the direction of acclaimed Michelin-starred chef Dominique Crenn. 58 Highland Park Village
Docent Steak & Lounge. Japanese steakhouse with Wagyu and Kobe beef and sushi is another new concept from Harwood Hospitality. 2801 N. Harwood St.
Domodomo. Sushi concept from New York featuring a moderately priced omakase menu will open any minute now at The Quad. 2681 Howell St. BU 3
Dream Cafe. Venerable Uptown restaurant celebrated for healthy comfort food is about to open a spinoff in Richardson's Core District. 520 Lockwood Dr.
8111 Douglas restaurant. Restaurant in Preston Center from Duro Hospitality, still TBA, will open in a new mixed-used development from Lincoln Property. 8111 Douglas Ave.
Elephante. Italian steakhouse from from globe-trotting hospitality group founded by Australian native Nick Mathers. 2323 Cedar Springs Rd.
Evelyn. Steakhouse from Rich Hicks (Ojo Locos, Pie Tap, The Mexican) opening in the Design District. 1201 Turtle Creek Blvd.
Flamant. European bistro from the owners of Rye is opening in Plano. 5880 SH-121, Plano
Frenchie. French cafe from Travis Street Hospitality Group (Knox Bistro, Le PasSage, Rose Cafe) will open in former Corner Bakery space. 8420 Preston Center Plaza
Homewood replacement. Foodie temple Homewood location is slated to become a restaurant from Duro Hospitality. 4006 Oak Lawn Ave.
Hampton Social. Chicago concept touting a “rosé all day” theme will open in former Iron Cactus space in downtown Dallas. 1520 Main St.
Kilmac's Oak Cliff. Small bar from Feargal McKinney (Old Monk, Skellig) opening next to his Oak Cliff location of Old Monk. 814 W. Davis St.
Little Ruby's. Cafe from New York with burgers, pasta, and Vegemite toast from globe-trotting hospitality group founded by Australian native Nick Mathers will open at 23Springs. 2323 Cedar Springs Rd.
Low Bar. To quote the owners, "just a god damn good honky tonk from the Las Almas Rotas people," in Exposition Park. Wow so bad-ass. 831 Exposition Ave.
Mamani. French restaurant at The Quad from brothers Henry and Brandon Cohanim (Bar Colette, Pok,Namo), with a chef from Joël Robuchon in Las Vegas. They're opening Bread Club, a bakery, in the same space. 2681 Howell St.
Miss Eddie's Market. Market and cafe will serve as centerpiece of The Adaline, a mixed-use development in South Dallas from Onu Ventures. 4315 Riverside Rd.
Muchacho Tex-Mex. Chef Omar Flores is opening a third location of his Mexican concept in the former Whistle Britches space in North Dallas. 6110 Frankford Rd.
Musume Frisco. Asian resaurant from Rock Libations group with locations in Dallas and Fort Worth will open at The Star in Frisco in the former Sushi Marquee space. 3625 The Star Blvd. #315
Night Rooster. Long-in-the-works Chinese spot from the group behind the Saint, is opening in the Design District with a rooftop deck. 1000 N. Riverfront Blvd.
Nouveau Bar & Grill. Long-in-the-works spot from Atlanta restaurateur-chef Ebony Austin is penciled in for Village on the Parkway in Addison. 5100 Belt Line Rd. #752B
Ocean Ranch. Seafood and chophouse from California restaurateur will open in former Carte Blanche space. 2114 Greenville Ave.
Primal Steakhouse. Las Vegas’s top-rated steakhouse will be making its Texas debut in Denton. 5625 SH-121
Ruthie's Cafe. New cafe going into the historic Forest District building is an offshoot of the popular Ruthie's food truck. 1632 MLK Jr. Blvd.
Serritella Prime Italian Steakhouse. Italian steakhouse, market, and steakhouse in Lakewood will open in the old Matt’s Rancho Martinez space.1904 Skillman St.
Sicilian Butcher. Meatball-loving restaurant from Arizona-based celebrity chef Joey Maggiore will open a second DFW location in North Dallas; the first opened in Fort Worth in 2024. at 5225 Belt Line Rd. #240
Sushi Kozy. Omakase spot in downtown Dallas from former Uchi chef Paul Ko will open in winter 2025. 2000 Ross Ave. #150
Tejas BBQ. Takeout with smoked meats plus tacos and pozole will open February 4 in the former Civello's space. 1318 N. Peak St.
III Forks. Steakhouse is opening a "complete reinvention" of the concept at Addison's Village on the Parkway. 5100 Belt Line Rd. #800
Toca Madera. "Modern Mexican steakhouse" from Noble 33, a global hospitality group known for its high-energy restaurant concepts, and will open in 2026 in the East Quarter district. 2203 Commerce St.

Vaqueros Texas Bar-B-Q. Food truck from Arnulfo "Trey" Sanchez, partnered with M Crowd Restaurant Group, will open a stand-alone restaurant at Watters Creek Village. 970 Garden Park Dr., Allen
Waters Edge Winery & Bistro. Winery and cafe is opening in the former Fireside Pies at the Creekside Village shopping center in northeast Dallas. 6750 Abrams Rd.
