Fun-loving Dallasites horse around for charity at 35th anniversary gala

The 411: Approximately 500 guests were welcomed to the red carpet by Equest mini ambassadors, Cisco and Dare, before joining honorary co-chairs Chris and Dale Hansen and Helena and Doug Wall for a cocktail reception featuring a bourbon-and-biscuits bar and a champagne lounge (among other treats). Guests watched therapeutic horsemanship demonstrations by Equest clients, played cornhole, and, at sunset, sat down for a farm-to-table feast. After all bids were placed at the silent and live auctions, the sold-out affair continued late into the night with performances by Cary Pierce, Crystal Yates, and Jon Davis Christopher.
