Beloved Dallas shopping fundraiser kicks off with sip-and-see party
What: Partners Card Kickoff 2018
The 411: A Dallas tradition kicked off its 26th season of philanthropic shopping under the leadership of Leigh Danley, Tierney Kaufman, and Julian Leaver, who are serving as the 2018 Partners Card co-chairs.
This particular party, held at the upscale Oak Lawn boutique, featured delicious bites by Parigi and handpainted items for sale by Kris Ammon of KCA Design.
“We are thrilled to be part of this Dallas fundraising tradition,” Leaver told the jovial patrons, alongside his fellow co-chairs.
The Family Place is celebrating its 40th anniversary of empowering the victims of family violence in Dallas by providing safe shelter, counseling, and skills to create independence. The 10-day Partners Card event is set to run this fall, from October 26-November 4.
Shoppers purchase a Partners Card for $70 to receive a 20 percent discount at more than 750 participating retailers across Dallas-Fort Worth metropl. Over the past 25 years, the efforts have raised more than $18 million to help break the cycle of family violence in the community.
