Dallas young professionals dazzle in white during Design District fundraiser
If the fabulous early fall weather was any indication of how this young professional party was going to go, then The One Society was in good shape from the start for its annual Night in White. A light breeze blew through D.E.C. on Dragon, the latest hot spot for parties of all kinds, ensuring a cool night of fun and fundraising.
Charitably minded guests swarmed the venue, but first stopped to snap pictures with friends at the step-and-repeat. Once inside, they ogled chic arrangements by Something Pretty Floral before grabbing a table to nosh on light bites and imbibe.
Then it was time to head to the dance floor, where Latin House Krew kept partygoers on their feet. We were impressed that most people stayed true to the party theme and dazzled in white attire, including Jessica Miller,
, and Chris Ray.With the list of sponsors a mile long, you know the raffle items were on point. For the girls, think goodies from Accessory Concierge, Bellacures, Akola Jewelry, and Lion and Witch. The men had the chance to score a round of golf for four at Brookhaven Country Club, a gift package from the The Boardroom, and FC Dallas swag. Uchi Dallas gift cards were also up for grabs.
All proceeds from this event go to further the mission of The One Society, which supports Children’s Health by engaging and fostering young leaders to make life better for children. This year the YP group chose Children’s Camps as its charitable recipient.
The One Society social chair Lauren Corr says the group is proud to support a cause that helps children and their families heal and grow after their hospital experience. Since its founding in 2010, the group has raised more than $146,000 for various areas of the hospital.
