A Tale of Two 43's
Dubya writes cheer-up letter to Alabama kicker and Southlake Carroll grad Cade Foster

Cade Foster took a lot of heat from fans and press a few weeks ago after the kicker missed two field goals and had another blocked in Alabama’s epic 34-28 loss to Auburn in the Iron Bowl. The last-second loss knocked Alabama out of the hunt for their third consecutive national championship.
While his teammates and fans stepped up to defend him after the Twitter threats started rolling in, it seems that Foster has one big-time supporter from Dallas who knows a thing or two about taking criticism: former president George W. Bush.
Foster published a picture on his Instagram account earlier this week that shows a letter from Dubya. It reads:
Dear Cade (#43), Life has its setbacks. I know! However you will be a stronger human with time. I wish you all the best. Sincerely — another 43 George Bush.
Foster also said that he will be framing the letter. The kicker, who attended Southlake Carroll High School, is a senior at Alabama and will likely attempt to make a team in the NFL next year as a free agent.
