Radha Arora
Rosewood Hotels & Resorts president on spirituality, charisma and Chardonnay
No one knows posh destinations like Radha Arora. A 30-year veteran of the luxury hotel business, he earned his stripes in the industry as the youngest general manager in the history of the Ritz-Carlton, London.
Arora also spent 16 years with the Four Seasons, both as the regional vice president and general manager of the Beverly Wilshire, as well as presiding over properties in the western United States and South Pacific. He brought a lifetime of great taste to Rosewood Hotels & Resorts when he signed on as president in September 2011, after the Dallas-born company was acquired by Hong Kong-based, family-run New World Hospitality.
Thanks to the strength of this East-West partnership, Rosewood is poised to make an impact on the Asian market. With properties underway in Beijing, Bali, Phuket and Jakarta, we’re sure Arora’s got big plans afoot. In the meantime here’s a look at what drives this dapper visionary.
