Do You Want to See a Snowman Ice Skating?
Disney's Frozen skates into Dallas for most obvious spin-off ever
Disney's Frozen has been one of the most successful animated films ever, so it was only a matter of time before the Mouse House spun it off into other entertainment options.
The first of presumably many others will be Disney On Ice: Frozen. The tour starts in September 2014 and skates into American Airlines Center in Dallas March 25-29, 2015. The show will also head to San Antonio and Houston.
Putting Frozen on ice is pretty much the most obvious thing Disney could have done, but that doesn't mean it won't still be entertaining. The show will feature popular characters like Elsa, Anna, Olaf, Kristoff and others in a special effects-laden show that will include songs like "Let It Go" and "Do You Want to Build a Snowman?"
The show will be hosted by Mickey and Minnie Mouse, and don't be surprised if characters from movies like Toy Story, Finding Nemo and The Lion King show up to help the Arendelle crew prove the power that true love can have.
Tickets for the 10 shows in Dallas officially go on sale on Tuesday, June 3, but if you enter the code "SOCIAL" in the offer code box, they can be yours right now. Prices range anywhere from $12-$80.
