Kimberly Schlegel Whitman, a fixture on the Dallas lifestyle scene, recently added another impressive credit to her name: fashion and lifestyle ambassador for NorthPark Center.

Seems a good fit for the entertaining expert, Southern Living editor-at-large, author, and former RSVP Social Calendar owner (which is now Kimberly Schlegel Whitman’s RSVP Social Calendar powered by CultureMap). As part of the RSVP acquisition, she also serves as CultureMap Dallas’ lifestyle editor-at-large.

“I’m so excited to join the NorthPark Center family,” says Whitman in a release. “It is an honor to be a part of a team that truly values their visitors and creates memorable experiences for all who walk through the doors with an impeccable environment of fashion, art, and architecture.”

What this means is that Whitman will be the official face of NorthPark when it comes to talking trends and new developments, as well as introducing brands and hosting events.

The first big event is March 12, to celebrate Whitman's appointment and the release of the spring issue of NorthParkNow Trend magazine. From 1-3 pm, you can attend an exclusive shopping event at Michael Kors, featuring cocktails, bites, a live DJ, and expert styling with Whitman. In addition, more than a dozen of NorthPark’s contemporary brands will join in the festivities with special offers and surprises from noon-6 pm.
