ClassPass grants members unlimited access to workouts around Dallas
With the new year comes the inevitable resolution to exercise more. But choosing where to work out — and what regimen you'll actually adhere to — can be just as daunting as taking that first class. Enter ClassPass, a new fitness membership that gives you access to tons of local exercise options.
Similar to Dallas-born StudioHop, ClassPass members can take up to three sessions per month at any participating studio for a flat fee of $99. With the membership, you can hop from Pilates to yoga to cycling without buying expensive one-class passes or committing to a certain place. And the options around Dallas-Fort Worth plentiful: Beyond500, Exhale, CorePower Yoga, PureBarre and Flywheel, just to name a few.
Once registration is complete, members reserve classes online via the ClassPass website. New classes are added every day, and most classes are available to reserve one week in advance. As with most fitness studios, classes must be canceled 24 hours in advance to avoid additional fees. Membership renews automatically each month but can be canceled anytime.
Although you can only visit the same studio three times per month, unlimited access to classes in the network makes up for this small stipulation. Consider it a chance to branch out from your old standby and find a new favorite routine in 2015. ClassPass also is available in 19 other cities, including New York, LA, Chicago, Boston, Denver, Houston and Austin.
