A new Asian restaurant will open in Dallas' Arts District from a restaurateur with downtown experience. Called Musumé, it'll go into the Hall Arts building, alongside Stephan Pyles' Flora Street Cafe, with an opening date set for November.

Creator and co-owner is Josh Babb, of Rock Libations, the restaurant group behind Kenichi Dallas, Shooters in Victory Park, Chop Shop in Carrolton, and Chop Shop Live in Roanoke. Babb says in a release that they anticipate a synergistic relationship with Flora Street Cafe.

"We look forward to being a part of this new project and feel strongly that having a location next to an award-winning chef’s fine dining restaurant will complement what we are creating," he says.

Hall Arts is the mixed-use
development from developer Craig Hall, which includes an office building, sculpture walk, and underground parking facility. A second phase will include a condo high-rise with an attached boutique hotel.
