With only a few weeks left before United Way of Metropolitan Dallas’ Unite Forever Gala, the organization’s young professionals group kicked off the countdown with a party at Pecan Lodge.
More than 175 attendees noshed BBQ from the Deep Ellum hot spot while jammin’ to ’80s and ’90s tunes from the Royal Beat Downs. They also listened carefully as United Way reps announced winners of the night’s various drawings, including gifts from The Joule.
The Unite Forever Gala, the 90th anniversary celebration for the beloved nonprofit, is set to rock AT&T Stadium on February 6, with a concert featuring reigning CMA Entertainer of the Year Blake Shelton and his fellow Voice judge and Grammy Award winner Usher.
This barbecue fest also was an opportunity for these charitable YPs — Brian Quach, Sammy Gonzales, Katie Cunningham, Greg Brinkley, Sarah Hayes-Davis, Anne DeFlippo, Estelle Garza, Amy Boyd and Byron Sanders — to get their pit passes for the epic show. The standing-room-only vouchers are available for a $90 donation to United Way and include parking plus two complimentary drinks.
Limited quantities are available, so if you missed the kickoff, you can still get yours here.
