A bevy of beauties descended on Classic BMW in Plano for the first-ever Design & Dine presented by CBS Radio Dallas. The event combined local fashion and food for a night of fabulous philanthropy and fun.
Guests — including Cynthia Smoot, LeeAnne Locken, Mike Howard, Kelly Smith, Margie Shynkaruk, Wes Tachibana, Amber Leigh Hartman and Lauren Ramos — took in the stylish sights, which included showcases by five Dallas design talents: Shemara Couture, Mario Alberto, Le’Venity, Abi Ferrin and Hueso Outlaw Texas Roadway. Designers were selected by Culture Hype’s Amber LaFrance.
To satisfy other cravings, attendees sampled selections from local restaurants such as Truluck’s, Ra Sushi, Capital Grille, Cru Wine Bar, Scardello, Bavarian Grill, Seasons 52 and more. The only thing more plentiful than the food was the booze from sponsors such as Herradura Tequila, Smirnoff and Hendrick’s Gin.
Back to that philanthropic bit. A portion of proceeds benefited Junior League of Collin County, an organization dedicated to bettering life in Collin County by promoting volunteerism, developing the potential of women, and improving the community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers.
