Stadium-Size Fundraiser
Ultimate Dallas tailgate Taste of the NFL totally belongs in these new digs
For its 11th year, Taste of the NFL will be held where it belongs: at AT&T Stadium. Nicknamed the “Ultimate Dallas Cowboys Tailgate Party,” the popular event is a signature fundraiser for the North Texas Food Bank.
The nonprofit shares hosting duties with Abacus chef-owner Kent Rathbun, the Dallas Cowboys offensive line led by Travis Frederick, NFL Hall of Fame inductee Charles Haley, and former Cowboys Chad Hennings and Preston Pearson. The event is set for May 3, 6-9 pm.
Just like old times, attendees can expect gourmet bites from Rathbun and 20 more talented local chefs, signature cocktails, and live and silent auctions filled with luxury items. The Rusty Brothers are performing live country music.
Every dollar donated to the North Texas Food Bank provides three meals for a hungry child, and 100 percent of Taste of the NFL proceeds helps distribute food through the organization’s 300 member agencies in 13 counties, and through the Food 4 Kids backpacks, Kids Cafe and School Pantry programs. Tickets start at $150, and they are available now.
Since its inception in 2005, Taste of the NFL has raised more than $1.61 million for hungry North Texas children.
