Legacy of Love benefit proves that fashion and philanthropy do mix
The Legacy chapter of the Women’s Auxiliary to Children’s Medical Center partnered with Park Place Lexus and Tootsies to host the second annual Legacy of Love fashion show and luxury raffle.
More than 300 philanthropic fashionistas — including Kaylan Hopson, Kelli Hopson, Carley Rupp, Morgan Prentiss, Jennifer Redmond and Amy Medford — hopped from raffle table to raffle table, bidding on luxury gifts, all the while sipping Deep Eddy Vodka cocktails and noshing on savory bites provided by Seasons 52.
RSC Show Productions directed the fashion show featuring spring fashions available at Tootsies. Throughout the show, Courtney Kerr of KTXD’s The Broadcast and What Courtney Wore, Lauren Scruggs of LOLO Magazine and Shannon Yoachum of Style by Lolly provided panel commentary about the looks coming down the runway.
The event proved to be a hit yet again, raising more than $130,000 in its sophomore year. All proceeds benefit the Children’s Medical Center as it continues to uphold its mission of making life better for children for more than 100 years.
