Whether August for you means back-to-school or just surviving this heat, you've got a reason to shop these stores. As if you really ever "needed" a reason.

Abi Ferrin
We heart Abi because she supports other women. Case and point: La Viajera, aka the cutest bag company based in East Dallas, is heading to the West Village style staple for an epic pop-up shop from August 24-27. These Colombian-made bags will surely be your new obsession. Enjoy We The Birds Macarons and cocktails on August 24 and then swing by to shop the oh-so-adorable mochilas bag throughout the rest of the weekend.

Hermès
Dallas' Ann & Gabriel Barbier-Mueller Museum: The Samurai Collection has an Hermès scarf collection that just launched, and you know we are all about supporting local. The scarf, Parures de Samouraïs, features a design by artist Aline Honoré that pays homage to samurai warrior adornments from the 14th and 18th century. The silk twill design retails for $395, is available in 12 color varieties, and will be sold online and at select Hermès boutiques (including this one at Highland Park Village).

Lauren James
Heading back to school or just craving a little organization as fall approaches? You must head into the Lauren James boutique at the Shops of Legacy and pick up the Lauren James lifestyle planner. It's way more than a 12-month planner, with a place to write down goals, track water consumption, and plan meals for the week. The best news? It will only cost you $28, which is way less than the competition.

Mi Golondrina
This hand-embroidered clothing company is exactly what we need to help survive the dog days of summer. Specifically the new arrivals, which include easy, breezy, extremely beautiful dresses that fit every body type perfectly. Buy online or visit the showroom Tuesday through Friday from 10 am to 4 pm.

Veronica Beard
Highland Park Village scored the first standalone store outside of New York, and its doors are officially open. The company is known for its signature Dickey jacket and expertly tailored tops, pants, dresses, and more. Veronica Beard was founded in 2010 by sister-in-laws Veronica Miele Beard and Veronica Swanson Beard after noticing a void in the market for cool, classic, and chic clothing that you could actually live in.

William Noble
William Noble is moving back to where it all began for the brand in Highland Park Village, until mid-2018 when its permanent showroom is ready. Until then, shoppers get to benefit from the store's divine selection of rare jewels, estate jewelry, engagement rings, everyday essentials, and statement pieces. And for those who can't make it into the store, the brand (which has now dropped the "Rare Jewels" from its name) has become the first Dallas-based luxury jeweler to launch an online shop.

Ylang 23
The earring-obsessed should travel to the Plaza at Preston Center for Maria Tash's piercing event August 23-26. Haven't heard of Maria Tash? Christina Aguilera, Ruby Rose, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Beyoncé all have — they're just a few of the celebs who go wild for the jewelry designer's elegant, stylish, and slightly edgy earrings, many of which are designed specifically for cartilage piercings. Tash has stores in New York and London, but this is the first time her piercers are heading out on the road to Texas. Piercings range in price from $15-$35, and there will be a small selection of gold hoops starting at $60 and traditional earrings for first and second lobes starting at $50 per piece. Cartilage studs will start at $100.

Where to shop in Dallas right now: 6 new stores to check out for June

LoveShackFancy and Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders collaboration.

The June edition of Where to Shop, CultureMap Dallas ' monthly roundup of new shops and hot sales has a little of everything: buzzy new designer boutique, museum shop, thrift store, and furniture boutique that graduated from online to brick-and-mortar. There's also a new cheerleaders collection and a major tile sale.

Here's where to shop in Dallas for June 2025:

Billy Reid
Texas fashion designer has opened a boutique in Dallas at 1902 N. Henderson Ave., in the former Knot Standard space. Reid is known for his carefully crafted clothing and accessories embodying lived-in luxury, with high-quality fabrics and unexpected detailing. Reid says that the space will allow them to combine their main collection and custom clothing efforts under one roof. They carry men’s and women’s clothing, including men’s polos and trousers, dresses, blazers, plus travel bags, belts, and cotton twill ball caps.

Casa Bella Decor
Luxury home furniture boutique is now open in Melissa at 3210 Milrany Ln. #300. After eight years as an online store, this is the brand's first physical showroom with items like bedding, chairs, patio furniture, and nightstands. They carry home goods and furniture brands such as Barefoot Dream, Farmhouse Fresh, Rowe Furniture, and Voluspa Candles. There are also complimentary design consultations available.

Daltile
Dallas-based company — the largest manufacturer and marketer of tile in the U.S. — has launched a summer sale highlighting "Made in the USA" products with up to 40 percent off American-made tile collections on 36 lines ranging from ultra-trendy Artcrafted colored glass tiles to the wood look of Acreage to the convincing faux marble of Marble Attache. Daltile products are distributed through 260-plus company-owned sales service centers, stone slab yards, design studios, and independent flooring retailers, searchable online. The sale runs through August 31.

There's a museum store now open inside Frontiers of Flight Museum, at 6911 Lemmon Ave. near Dallas Love Field. The store is a 1,400-square-foot space with Frontiers of Flight merchandise, interactive STEM kits, aviation-themed books, art prints, and toys, plus candles, apparel, and jewelry from local makers chosen to reflect the innovation that defines the museum. Located right inside the museum’s lobby, it's open to the public, no ticket required.

Goodwill Carrollton
Goodwill's newest location is a state-of-the-art store and donation drop-off center which opened on June 5 in a former Big Lots. This store is the non-profit's 19th location in its eight-county service area and represents Goodwill's mission-integrated social enterprise that is dedicated to helping people with barriers recognize and reach their full potential through the power of a job.

LoveShackFancy
Cotton Incorporated and LoveShackFancy have partnered with the Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders on an "America's Sweetheart" all-cotton 28-piece collection featuring frilly print and gingham sundresses, American flag sweatshirts, and a line of skirts, dresses, and tops embroidered with cherries. The brands will host a tailgate party at LoveShackFancy’s Dallas boutique (at 29 Highland Park Village) on June 21, that includes a meet & greet with two of the Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders.
