There wasn’t an empty champagne glass in the house at the Neiman Marcus flagship in downtown Dallas, where VIPs gathered for the most exclusive lunch in town, otherwise known as the Crystal Charity Ball 10 Best Dressed Fashion Show and Luncheon.
Before the highly anticipated festivities began, luncheon chair Pat McEvoy welcomed attendees to a red carpet reception on the department store’s first floor, where the elite posed for photos, sipped some sparkling and took in the scene.
Then it was show time. Well-heeled guests made their way to a luxurious tent in the valet lot where 10 Best Dressed nominees — including Nancy Carlson, Francie Moody-Dahlberg, Heather Esping, Mary Clare Finney, Margaret Hancock, Ashley Hunt, DeeDee Lee, Patty Leyendecker, Lynn McBee, Christi Urschel and Hall of Famer Lee Ann White — hit the runway in Nina Ricci designs designed by Peter Copping.
Among the big-deal guests — who looked runway-ready themselves — were former first lady Laura Bush, Charlotte Jones Anderson, Candice Romo, Brill Garrett, Sunie Solomon, Erin Mathews, Barbara Daseke, Robin McMonigle, Brian Bolke and Ceron.
The Crystal Charity Ball, chaired by Robyn Conlon, is set for Saturday, December 6, at the Hilton Anatole.
