What: Thrift Studio wrap party and BoConcept grand opening
Where: BoConcept
The 411: In one fun event, guests celebrated another successful season of the Dwell With Dignity Thrift Studio and explored the 3,000-square-foot BoConcept studio that just opened in the Knox-Henderson neighborhood. DJ Jose G provided the soundtrack while partygoers sipped Austin Cocktails and noshed on light bites from Mr. Mesero. Dwell With Dignity announced a record-breaking Thrift Studio event — more than $339,000 raised — and guests heard from Trista Hopkins, a single mother of two who will be receiving a refurnished home in the next few weeks. Hopkins thanked Dwell With Dignity for helping change not only her life, but also the lives of her daughters.
Who: Dwell with Dignity founder and president Lisa Robison and vice president and director Kim Turner, BoConcept Dallas owner Agustin Barragán, Steen Knigge, Irving Sigüenza, Denise McGaha, Gonzalo Bueno, Paul Duesing, Peter Sandel, Rudolf Valentino, and Kelsey Ann Haley.
