We happen to believe you can never have too much of a good thing, so we partnered with Cointreau again for one last CultureMap Social of the year. This time the festivities took place at ilume Park in the bustling Cedar Springs neighborhood.
Partygoers left their keys with the valet, scoped out the Lexus parked out front and headed straight for the Cointreau Garden to create their own custom cocktails. Fresh apples, blackberries and herbs were available for muddling and mixing with soda or lime juice. If they preferred, guests could also leave the mixology to the bartenders.
Fueled by delicious bites courtesy of Wendy Krispin Caterer, everyone enjoyed an exclusive pop-up performance by Jeff Mitchell of Decks in the Park and got their pictures taken in the Photomadic booth. Guests — including Sarah Crilley, Madisen Reid, Erin and John Adolph, Justin Bundick, Chris McCullough, and Alison Johnson — also were spotted tweeting and Instagramming what they wished to take home as parting gifts. But more on that later.
Attendees also explored the venue’s grand lounge, replete with piano, cocktail bar, coffee bar and dog lounge. The brand new ilume Park has a fondness for our four-legged friends, as it also has a bone-shaped splash pool; enclosed walking trails; and dog walking, sitting and grooming services onsite.
So back to the swag, which never disappoints. This time around, guests left with bags filled with goodies from Chocolate Secrets, Cointreau, Kendra Scott, Mizzen+Main and NorthPark Center.
Now rest up, CultureMap Insiders, because our Holiday Pop-up Shop is right around the corner, on December 7. Tickets are now available for $10 each.
