Chart topper Dave Matthews Band crashes into Gexa Energy Pavilion for upcoming summer tour
Dave Matthews Band is crashing into Texas with a trio of tour dates in the Lone Star State to support the group's latest album, Away from the World. The band will visit Houston at Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion on May 17 before heading to the Gexa Energy Pavilion at Fair Park in Dallas on May 18.
Tickets go on sale to the public March 22, but members of Warehouse, the official Dave Matthews Band fan club, can request presale tickets beginning at 9 am, February 21, through 10 am, March 4.
Following a performance in Dallas, DMB heads to Tower Amphitheatre in Austin on May 21 before going up to New York for an extended leg in the Northeast, with stops in Pennsylvania, Connecticut and Massachusetts.
The last six Dave Matthews Band albums have debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard charts, and the band has sold more than 30 million albums since forming in Charlottesville, Virginia, in 1991. Before they embark on their summer tour, they will play at the New Orleans Jazz Fest on April 28.
The entire tour consists of 45 shows from May 17 to September 8 and includes a traditional three-day performance at the Gorge Amphitheatre in George, Washington, for Labor Day weekend.
