Dallas lands only Texas date of Willie Nelson's 2019 Outlaw Festival

Willie Nelson's Outlaw Music Festival Tour is back for 2019, starring Willie Nelson & Family along with most of the biggest roots rock and jam bands.

The tour starts on June 14 in Bangor, Maine, and stops at only 10 cities, including Dallas, where the tour closes on July 3. Dallas is the only Texas city on the tour.

The lineup includes: Willie Nelson & Family, Phil Lesh & Friends, The Avett Brothers, Alison Krauss, The Revivalists, Counting Crows, Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats, Old Crow Medicine Show, Dawes, Lukas Nelson & Promise Of The Real, Steve Earle & The Dukes, Hayes Carll, Casey Donahew, and Colter Wall And Particle Kid.

More artists will be announced in the coming weeks.

The inaugural Outlaw Music Festival made its debut in 2016 in Scranton, Pennsylvania featuring Willie Nelson & Family, along with acts such as Neil Young and Sheryl Crow. The sold-out show was so well received that Nelson decided to launch a touring festival. It went on the road in 2017 and 2018, and now it's back for 2019.

Tickets go on sale March 8 at 10 am. Go to outlawmusicfestival.com.

4. Jakes Burgers returns to East Dallas with location on Greenville Ave. An iconic burger is coming to Dallas' Greenville Avenue: Jakes Burgers and Beer, the Dallas-based chain featuring burgers, fries, and beer, is opening a location at 4925 Greenville Ave., at the Energy Square development.
