Another Broken Egg Cafe brings breakfast & brunch to Lemmon Ave Dallas

A new breakfast spot has debuted in Uptown Dallas: Another Broken Egg Cafe, a growing chain founded in Louisiana, has opened a location at 3223 Lemmon Ave., in the space previously occupied by Howard Wang's Uptown Grill, where it is bringing the breakfast, the brunch, and the lunch.
Founded in 1996 in Mandeville, near New Orleans, Another Broken Egg Cafe has a menu with a Southern-inspired theme, featuring dishes such as peach cobbler pancakes, bananas Foster Belgian waffles, black bean Benedict, huevos rancheros, and biscuits and gravy. Like most of the concepts in this breakfast-and-brunch genre, they also have a robust menu of cocktails. Brunch cocktails are a must.
The chain is a pioneer in the realm, and currently have more than 100 locations in 17 states. They made their DFW debut early in the game, back in the early 2010s with a location on Greenville Avenue. That closed in 2013 but they've since opened locations in Southlake, Preston Hollow Village, and The Colony.
The new one on Lemmon Avenue is a sibling to the Preston Hollow Village and Colony locations, brought to us by Legend Daytime Hospitality Inc., a Texas-based restaurant group led by Muhammad Hanif, who says in a statement that they're grateful for the support they've received and excited to bring a new Another Broken Egg Cafe to the Oak Lawn area.
"Our goal has always been to create a place where guests can slow down, enjoy a great meal, and feel genuinely welcomed," Hanif says. A noble goal indeed.
The Lemmon Avenue location features dishes like Shrimp ‘N Grits, Chicken & Waffles, and the Lobster and Brie Omelet. In addition to their core menu, the cafe offers rotating seasonal selections curated by Another Broken Egg Cafe executive chef Joel Reynders.
“We’re thrilled to deepen our roots in Dallas with a new cafe in the Oak Lawn neighborhood,” said Jorge Salvat, President and CEO of Another Broken Egg Cafe. “At the core of our brand is a commitment to creating happiness for our guests through elevated food and genuine hospitality, and we’re excited to share that with even more people in Dallas."
