Dallas outdoor arena offers one-time ticket to see concerts all summer long
In what has become an annual tradition, concert promoter Live Nation is offering a one-time ticket that will provide entrance to concerts at Dos Equis Pavilion during summer 2024 concert season.
The newly-dubbed "Lawnie Pass" gives concertgoers guaranteed general admission lawn seating to shows all summer long.
For $239, pass holders will not only be able to see a wide variety of singers and bands, but they'll also get Fast Lane entry and general admission parking for each concert. Rare for Live Nation, the $239 price includes all fees.
This marks the third year in a row that Live Nation has offered a summer pass, following 2022 and 2023, but it's the first year they've referred to it as a "Lawnie Pass."
A release offers more intel: "The pass is perfect for live music fans of all types and especially the Lawnies. Who are the Lawnies? They are the citizens of the lawn. The heart and soul of outdoor concert season. Mosh-pit starters, grass grinders and roof raisers. The first in and last to leave."
According to the pass page, those who purchase a pass will receive it by May 6, making Cody Jinks on May 11 the first possible show passholders can attend.
Other concerts scheduled at the venue this summer include Hootie & the Blowfish, Dave Matthews Band, Alanis Morissette, The Doobie Brothers, New Kids on the Block, Niall Horan, Sammy Hagar, Thirty Seconds to Mars, and Creed.
In all, there are 17 concerts currently scheduled at Dos Equis Pavilion between May 11 and September 11, meaning the pass would average around $14 per concert.
Fans can check lawniepass.com for more details on the 2024 concert season, including exclusions, and look out for more shows to be announced in the coming months.
TheLawnie Pass will go on sale on Wednesday, February 7 at 12 pm Central Time, while supplies last. Previous Lawnie Pass holders will be able to purchase their pass in an exclusive presale now through February 6.
Citi cardmembers will have access to presale passes on February 6 from 9 am to February 7 at midnight through the Citi Entertainment program.
