Biggest outlet mall in Dallas area adds 3 hip new retailers
Big doings are going on at the biggest outlet mall in the Dallas area: Allen Premium Outlets will get three new retailers, as well as a number of relocations of existing stores.
New stores include H&M, Armani Outlet, and Bath & Body Works/White Barn.
General manager Jay Hambry says in a release that it's part of an overall re-do and dramatic expansion. A 22-acre plot northeast of the current shopping center has been rezoned to allow for additional parking and the future inclusion of restaurants and hotels.
"We're thrilled to have such exciting announcements to share as we wrap up our expansion project," he says. "We believe these new offerings will speak to our current customer base, giving them new options, while simultaneously attracting new customers to Allen Premium Outlets."
H&M is slated to open in August 2018 in the new expansion wing, at the heart of the shopping center, between Express Factory Outlet and Polo Ralph Lauren.
One of the world's largest fashion retailers, H&M is famous for offering fashion-forward apparel at affordable prices in a sustainable way. The 28,350-square-foot store will offer a one-stop shopping destination for the whole family, with collections for ladies, men, teens and kids, as well as a separate store-within-a-store with accessories.
Armani Outlet will open in fall 2018, offering haute couture, ready-to-wear, leather goods, shoes, watches, jewelry, accessories, eyewear, cosmetics, and home interiors. The 4,526-square-foot store is in the expansion wing next to Tory Burch.
Bath & Body Works/White Barn is a new shopping and fragrance experience that combines products for the body with products for the home. The store will open fall 2018.
In addition to Bath & Body Works' popular mix of product offerings, the combined store will feature White Barn collections including candles with lead-free wicks, candles made from vegetable wax, room perfumes, and more than 60 exclusive fragrances. The 3,000-square-foot conjoined store will be located between Journeys and OshKosh B’Gosh.
Three stores — Michael Kors, Under Armour, and Skechers — are permanently relocating:
In April, Under Armour will open in a larger, 11,475-square-foot space in the expansion area next to Tory Burch.
In May, Michael Kors will open in a new, 9,500-square-foot location next to Perry Ellis and Calvin Klein.
In July, Sketchers will relocate to Under Armour’s current 7,260-square-foot space next to Wilson’s Leather.
More stores are slated to debut soon in the recently completed expansion area, as well as upgraded features and amenities in the existing center, including updated seating, a new play area, Wi-Fi service, landscaping, and architectural adornments.
