Where to Shop Now
Where to shop in Dallas right now: 8 must-hit stores for October
We are officially declaring it safe to shop for your fall favorites. Because whether or not the temps outside are cooperating, we can't stand the thought of all the seasonal staples getting swooped up without at least getting a chance to sort through them.
Home decor is also getting some love this month — so even if clothes aren't your thing, there's still shopping to be done.

Lineij designer Kipenzi is holding her first trunk show appearance in Dallas, October 14-16, 11 am to 7 pm, to kick off her fall/winter collection and to celebrate Breast Cancer Awareness Month. On October 15, a portion of the entire day’s proceeds benefit the Alliance in Breast Reconstructive Surgery Foundation.
AllSaints
This touted British fashion brand just opened its store at NorthPark Center on Level 1, between Neiman Marcus and Nordstrom. At 3,385 square feet, the mammoth space showcases the latest autumn and winter men's and womenswear collections, as well as the latest iteration of its handbag line, the Capital Collection.
Ann Taylor
Every Thursday in October, Ann Taylor is donating 10 percent of all in-store purchases from 5 pm to close (and all day online) to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. And if doing some philanthropic good isn't reason enough, how delicious are those pink pumps pictured above?
Bluemercury
One of our favorite spots to pick up luxury beauty products recently expanded to Plano's Shops at Legacy. This 3,521-square-foot space includes a spa room and all your favorite brands (24 to be exact). An exciting feature of this particular store is that it houses an exclusive Jo Malone London “shop-in-shop,” which is one of only three in the nation.

Luxury linen designer Pandora de Balthazár is holding a special trunk show October 28-30, from 10 am to 5 pm on Friday and Saturday, and starting at noon on Sunday. Expect to see all of her revitalizing sleep products, including her sheeting line and embroidered throw pillows.
Mi Golondrina
As if you needed more of an excuse to shop this brilliantly colored, chic clothing line, owner Cristina Lynch recently opened the doors to a larger showroom. Stop by the West Mockingbird shop Tuesday-Friday, 10 am to 4 pm, to shop the latest designs hand-embroidered by artisans in Mexico and finished off here in Dallas. There is no need to make an appointment, and the showroom is open to the public.
ShopSeptember
It may be October; however, it's never a bad time to ShopSeptember. This new West Village women's boutique offers all you'd expect, but with a special twist: Shoppers are encouraged to participate in weekly polls and chats to let the store know the clothing and accessories trends they want featured in the store. Results immediately affect what hits the shop floor.
Winter Lennon
After nearly five years as an online-only boutique, Winter Lennon owner and creative director Lindsay Duncan has opened a storefront in Oak Cliff. Expect the same lacy tunics, scarves, and bohemian dresses that filled the pages of the online shopping site. And for the bauble obsessed, don't worry: Jewelry lines are being added soon.
