Let the Pampering Begin
Historic downtown Dallas hotel adds luxurious spa with fragrant first
The Adolphus news just keeps coming. On the heels of opening a brand-new rooftop pool and bar, the historic downtown Dallas hotel is continuing its evolution with a luxury spa and salon dubbed, appropriately, Spa Adolphus.
The hotel partnered with New York-based beauty and wellness brand Red Flower for the 5,000-square-foot pampering destination. It has six treatments rooms, indoor and outdoor relaxation lounges, a couples’ room with a private terrace (featuring downtown views), and a large fitness facility.
Spa Adolphus also features an exclusive, first-of-its-kind Red Flower perfume bar with a “wellness twist.” According to a release, the perfume bar “offers the healing power of herbal medicine combined with the opulence of a Parisian perfume bar to deliver a ceremony that fills all of the senses.”
Basically, you choose your scent (Spanish Gardenia, Moroccan Rose, Icelandic Moonflower, or the Spa Adolphus signature French Lavender), then you get an awesome acupressure massage. Choose the signature massage, and you can take a vial of your scent home with you.
“Spa Adolphus offers a fresh, compelling, and thoughtfully crafted experience,” says spa director Laura Lambert. “We are excited to partner with Red Flower on our signature treatments that feature body and skincare products focused on well-being and inspired by the abundance and purity found in nature.”
Other treatments include the Red Flower Energizing Japanesque Ritual, a six-part ritual that includes a full-body exfoliation with warming ginger grass and bamboo, organic rice bran scented with cherry blossoms, and a balancing facial massage; the Face Lift Optimizer from Natura Bisse, which uses Octamioxyl and a sono-lifting tuning fork technique to relax, refresh, and smooth the skin; and the 30-minute Carboxi Express Facial treatment, which uses carboxytherapy to fight the signs of aging and produce visibly rejuvenated skin.
The salon provides nail, hair, and beauty services to round out the experience.
The hotel is offering several Stay and Spa packages in celebration of the Spa Adolphus opening. The two-night Suite Retreat package ($840) includes a couples signature massage, side-by-side classic pedicures, a 20 percent discount on additional spa services and retail purchases, plus more. There’s also a one-night Signature Spa Adolphus package for $490 and a two-night Girlfriends Getaway package for $745. Reservations can be made via the hotel website.
