Rag & Bone, the British-American line that started with a pair of men’s jeans in 2002, has quickly grown into a flourishing fashion brand, attracting insiders and celebrities such as Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, Jude Law, Cameron Diaz, Sienna Miller and Victoria Beckham. Dallas is the latest of 10 stores to open nationwide. David Neville, half of the Rag & Bone design duo, flew in from New York to celebrate the opening with a private cocktail party at the new 1,600-square-foot women’s boutique in Highland Park Village. Guests such as Krystal Schlegel, Elisa Summers, Heather and Ray Washburne, Chuck Steelman, John Terlingo, Lynn McBee, and Katina Thornton chatted it up with the handsome and friendly Brit while sipping spiked Arnold Palmers, Champagne and ale. Neville said they had been in talks with Highland Park Village before, so when the opportunity arose, they jumped on it. “We still need to prove ourselves, and hopefully we can add men’s down the road,” he said. For the time being, guys can shop for menswear from the Mac station in-store, while ladies can peruse the entire casual yet edgy collection, including shoes and accessories. The exclusive and much-talked-about Pilot bag [https: /www.rag-bone.com/Large_Pilot__Walnut/pd/cl/9747/np/213/p/3972.html] is also available in the store. So what item does Neville think is a must have this season? “The navy blue motorcycle jacket.” We couldn’t agree more.
