Frontgate
Home furnishing and lifestyle brand has opened a storefront at Preston Royal Village in Dallas, in the former Barnes & Noble which closed in 2021. This represents another relocation: Frontgate originally opened in Plano in 2017 with great fanfare, only the second brick-and-mortar location in the U.S. at the time, and one of the first stores to open in the Legacy West center. The company initially planned to keep both Plano and Dallas stores, before deciding to close Plano in September. The new store features their trademark vignettes and design studio, plus an atrium that simulates an outdoor setting, showcasing Frontgate's outdoor furniture under realistic lighting conditions. They'll host their grand opening on March 22-24.
Lip Lab
Cosmetics company known for customizable shades of lipstick has opened a new location at 2323 N. Henderson Ave. #104, in the same center as Gemma restaurant. At the Lip Lab, customers can create a lipstick, lip balm, or lip gloss that reflects their individual style. Each product has customizable shades, finishes, flavors, and an optional engraving. This is the second DFW location; there's also one at the Stonebriar Mall in Frisco which opened in 2023.
