You've never seen laminate like this home design superstar's wild collection
A new collaboration between Formica and a home design superstar may have you rethinking your kitchen countertops. The Formica Laminate Jonathan Adler Collection, just introduced at the Kitchen and Bath Industry’s annual trade mega show, features nine bold color and pattern combinations indicative of Adler’s signature aesthetic.
Suitable for countertops, backsplashes, vanities and cabinets, all three designs can be laid horizontally or vertically:
- Lacquered Linen. Inspired by midcentury modern furniture, this is Adler’s spin on a classic texture. Among the color options are orange, green, creme and charcoal.
- Malachite. The shiny, swirling pattern is made for bold spaces, especially in the offered shades of blue and charcoal. Make it the focal point of the kitchen, or use it behind the scenes in a powder room.
- Greek Key. Adler updates this classic motif with bold, matte colors and a larger scale. Choose classic blue, vibrant orange, or masculine charcoal and black.
“Formica brand laminates are iconic, and it has been a dream to be able to include some of my favorite patterns, colors and motifs in the collection,” said Adler in a release. “The uses for laminate are limitless; I can’t wait to use the styles from my collection in my stores and design projects — I want to laminate everything in my life with the new line.”
The Formica Laminate Jonathan Adler Collection will be available at Lowe’s and select kitchen and bath stores nationwide.
