Gather major design inspiration during this free Dallas-Fort Worth home tour

Looking for your next home, or maybe you’re needing some design inspiration for your current space? Then mark your calendar for Saturdays and Sundays in April for the DFW Showcase Tour of Homes, taking place at Trinity Falls in McKinney and Viridian in Arlington.

This is your chance to tour over 20 model homes, all lavishly decorated with luxe furnishings and some seriously enviable interior design. There will also be more than 100 available homes for sale in the communities of Trinity Falls and Viridian, both projects of Johnson Development Corp.

This free home tour, which runs Saturdays from 10 am-7 pm and Sundays from noon-6 pm in April, also happens to coincide with a collection of fun community events, all of which are open to the public.

Trinity Falls invites potential homeowners on April 29 to toast Breakfast at Trinity's (Falls) with a free mimosa brunch, including quiche, pastries, fruit, prosecco, and mimosas in the model homes.

Viridian is celebrating the DFW Showcase of Homes with Saturday brunches and a different themed cooking series each week. Previous weekends featured Southern delicacies, sushi, wine, and chocolate, but April 29 is dedicated to the art of grilling. There will also be a brunch from 10 am-12 pm with pastries, fresh fruit, prosecco, and mimosas, as well as coffee, craft beers, and more yummy food in the model homes from 2-5 pm. Be sure to stick around for the live entertainment on the Tribute Park Lawn.

Trinity Falls is a 1,700-acre community located near the banks of the East Fork Trinity River in McKinney. Viridian, designated a Certified Gold Signature Sanctuary by Audubon International, is a 2,000-acre community in Arlington, encompassing five lakes, open spaces, trails, rivers, and wetlands.
