Jordan Spieth unloads awesome Uptown Dallas bachelor pad for $1.2 million
You may recall that golf phenom Jordan Spieth put his Uptown townhome on the market this past spring when he moved into a less bachelor-like home in Bluffview. Perhaps that celebrity tie helped seal the deal finally, because the place has sold.
Sure hope the mail’s been forwarded.
The new owner gets three bedrooms and three bathrooms in 4,368 square feet. A courtyard serves as the entrance, and it is outfitted with fire pit and fountain. Inside, the foyer is paved with limestone, while dark bamboo floors flow throughout the rest of the main spaces.
The living room has a fireplace, and a spacious dining room flows seamlessly from the Bulthaup kitchen, with its sleek countertops, to-the-ceiling cabinetry, and built-in wine cooler. Also on this floor are a powder bath, cork-walled wine storage, and access to the garage.
The master bath is a knockout, with a tub flanked by two showers, his-and-hers sinks, ample storage, and full-size laundry. Guestrooms are one floor above the master, as is an additional laundry and newly added media room. An elevator provides access to the upper floors.
Out back is another courtyard, and this one has a Jacuzzi.
Sales price was $1,199,000. Debra Robinson of Allie Beth Allman got the listing in September and closed it October 9 for $1,199,999. Back in March, Tia Gannon of Rogers Healy and Associates was marketing it for $1.285 million.
