ZaZa to the North
Uptown Dallas' favorite boutique hotel slated to sex up Frisco's Wade Park
The northern suburbs are about to get a whole lot sexier with the addition of another Hotel ZaZa. The boutique hotel has plans to build its second Dallas-area property in Frisco's upcoming Wade Park development at the Dallas North Tollway and Lebanon Road.
The new ZaZa will have 175 guest rooms — including 10 signature, one-of-a-kind suites — 10,000 square feet of meeting space, pool with bars and cabanas, and a "chef-driven" restaurant. Among the other amenities will be a ZaSpa and fitness center. It will be "prominently positioned" along the main street of Wade Park's retail village, surrounded by 600,000 square feet of high-end shopping, dining and entertainment.
"A vast destination center in the heart of one of the nation's fastest-growing communities, Wade Park is the ideal location for our second Hotel ZaZa in North Texas," said Benji Homsey, president of brand development for Z Resorts, in a release. "The Frisco community is booming, and our resort-style hotel will meet the need by offering a unique experience, blending the best of business and leisure travel with the luxury and exclusivity of a boutique hotel unlike any other in the area."
This is the first of three hospitality venues slated for Wade Park. There are also plans for a 350-room executive conference hotel along the Tollway, as well as an upscale limited service hotel.
Previously announced Wade Park tenants include Whole Foods Market, iPic movie theater and Pinstripes bowling alley. Thomas Land & Development broke ground on Wade Park in early August, and Hotel ZaZa is slated to open in the first phase in fall 2016.
In addition to the above, the development will include 6 million square feet of office space, as well as a variety of residential housing, including apartments, condos and single-family residences supported by numerous luxury amenities and concierge services.
