Scardello European Cheese and Wine Class at SieMatic
Dallas' favorite cheese shop is taking its show on the road. Specifically the Dallas Design District. This informative class explores a variety of European wines and cheeses while discovery where cheesemaking traditions started. Tickets are $40 and the class starts at 7 pm.
Catalog Cupping at Common Desk Deep Ellum
Counter Culture coffee invites people with cupping experience to taste every coffee currently on the menu. Cupping coffees side-by-side is not only an excellent form of palate development, but it always helps you become a better buyer. Stars & S'mores at Dogwood Canyon Audubon Center
This unique event features roasted s’mores around the campfire while telescopes allow guests to enjoy a night of sky viewing. There will also be guided night hikes for people of all ages, hot chocolate, lawn games, kids' crafts, and a great gift shop discount. Animal encounters are available for an added fee. Tickets start at $5 are and the event kicks off at 6 pm on both Friday and Saturday night.

The Shake up at Armoury, D.E.
Women are shaking things up at this classic cocktail competition that features some of the best in the Dallas drinking scene. Guests select two Tromba tequila and Cointreau cocktails and then help to decide the winners by casting a vote for their favorite. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to a local female-centric charity. The competition gets started at 9 pm.
MLK Day Brunch at The Rustic
If you happen to have Martin Luther King, Jr. Day off of work or school, use it as a chance to grab brunch in Uptown. The special Monday brunch is from 10 am to 3 pm and will feature a live musical performance by Joseph Veazie at 12:30 pm.
