Between Fat Tuesday and Valentine's Day, this week is sure to be a (boozy) doozy. Food and drink events in Dallas abound, and some of them are downright fabulous. Tuesday, February 13
Fat Tuesday Celebration at Hookline
Partake in an all-day crawfish boil in honor of Mardi Gras. Starting at 11 am, enjoy cocktails like hurricanes, sazaracs, dark & stormies, and the cinco de bayou for just $5. Long necks and draft beers are also on special, and the Just Friends Dixie Land band is performing from 5-10 pm.
Mardi Craw Party at The Rustic
The good times will roll while Cajun cooking and cocktails flow. Tomar and the FCs are headlining the party, and there will be lots of free Mardi Gras swag, face painting, New Orleans-inspired tunes, and photos by Photo Wagon. Tickets are free with RSVP or $30 for VIP, which includes access to a buffet, cash bar, and special seating in front of the stage. The fun kicks off at 5:30 pm.
Wednesday, February 14
Vintage Valentine's Bash at The Statler
Share with your sweetheart an old-school evening, featuring dinner, drinking, and dancing the night away in The Statler's grand ballroom. The evening includes a three-course dinner and the smooth, sweet tunes of Hunter Sullivan and his 15-piece big band orchestra. Tickets are $119 and the evening begins at 7:30 pm. The last dance is at 11 pm.
Thursday, February 15
Monthly Cut at Dallas Chop House
This special, monthly dinner features a four-course dinner of chef-prepared dishes and champagne from G.H. Mumm and Perrier-Jouët. Courses include she-crab soup, crab legs, petite filet, and more. Tickets are $60 and dinners starts at 6 pm. If the dinner happens to sell out, call 214-736-7300 to get added to the waitlist.

The Morning After at Dallas Farmers Market
Only Dallas would have an epic festival dedicated to our favorite meal of the day — brunch. This sampling event features bites from local brunch hot spots, alongside drink samples and live music. Tickets are $40 and the event kicks off at 11:30 am.
